Over the past decades, the global solar industry has constantly been upping the potential value of photovoltaic industry chains and systems. Through the upgrading of silicon wafers, cells, module technology and manufacturing, the size of silicon wafers has increased from 125mm, 156.75mm, 166mm, 182mm to today's 210mm. This is an inevitable trend alongside increasing module power, reducing the costs of productions and power generation.</p>

On 25 November 2020, Trina Solar Limited Vertex S 400W+ series of ultra-high power compact&nbsp;modules successfully completed all necessary reliability tests and have obtained the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certificates. Following the two certificates awarded to the Vertex 550W/600W in October 2020 relating to IEC 61215 photovoltaic modules performance standards and IEC 61730 photovoltaic modules safety standards, this is another milestone for Trinasolar's ultra-high power modules.</p>

Trina Solar Co., Ltd. ("Trina Solar" or the "Company") today announced the renewal of its global brand for tracker business, as well as integrate and upgrade its business system and channels, so as to make full use of and strengthen Trina Solar's brand influence and bring better service and more added value to global customers.</p>

On 19 November 2020, Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Trina Solar) and Tianjin Zhonghuan Semiconductor Co., Ltd., (hereinafter Zhonghuan) signed a framework contract. Under the contract, Trina Solar intends to purchase 210mm monocrystal silicon wafers from Tianjin Huanou International Silicon Material Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhonghuan. During the proposed procurement period between January 2021 and December 2021, the estimated total contract value is about 6.552 billion yuan (including tax) with no less than 1.2 billion pieces.</p>

On November 17, 2020, Trina Solar Co., Ltd. announced that its cooperation with Tongwei Co., Ltd. has reached a new level. The cooperation involves three investments and a long term procurement cooperation framework agreement. Gao Jifan, Chairman of Trina Solar, said that the two leading companies focused on 210 products and cooperated to make the 210 industrial ecosystem stronger and bigger. Joint ventures and cooperation among strong players, who complements each other, have bigger advantages than simple vertical integrations within themselves.</p>
