Shipments of photovoltaic modules by Trina Solar (688599.SH) totaled 18.05GW in the first half of this year, 72% more than in the corresponding period last year, meaning the company continues to rank second worldwide in solar module shipments, the company’s half-yearly report published on August 25 said. In the six months, Trina Solar's revenue amounted to RMB 35.73 billion.</p>

On August 24, Trina Solar announced that its proprietary Vertex high-efficiency <em>n</em>-type monocrystalline silicon module, based on 66 pcs of 210 mm x 210 mm high-efficiency <em>n</em>-type i-TOPCon cells, has achieved a record aperture module efficiency of 24.24% for industrial large-area <em>n</em>-type i-TOPCon modules. This is independently confirmed by TÜV Nord.</p>

TrinaTracker announced 1GW milestone of orders globally for its SuperTrack smart control system till August 2022. The projects are distributed in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, in more than 10 countries. This milestone not only represents the acceptance of TrinaTracker smart control system’s mature technology in energy yield gain, but also demonstrates TrinaTracker has strong and stable capability for commercial production.</p>

Trina Solar has introduced a 25-year product warranty for its Vertex S module, for Australian and New Zealand residential applications, in response to customer needs.</p>

The Vertex S and Vertex S all-black modules previously had a 15-year product warranty for Australian and New Zealand households. The new version of these modules, which are both p-type modules, now has a 25-year warranty.</p>

The premium version Vertex S+ which is a n-type module, already came with a 25-year product warranty.</p>

Trina Solar, Australia’s leading brand of solar module, is launching its new generation of award-winning Vertex S residential rooftop modules at <em>Energy Next</em> (19-20 July) in Sydney.</p>

On July 5, Trina Solar’s State Key Laboratory of PV Science and Technology (SKL PVST) announced that its proprietary industrial larger-area 210mm×210mm high-efficiency PERC solar cell, has achieved the efficiency of 24.5%, independently confirmed by National Institute of Metrology, China. It sets a new record for 210 P-type monocrystalline silicon PERC cells. This is the 24th time Trina Solar creates a new world record, manifesting the company’s long-standing technology leadership.</p>

On June 28, the ceremony marking the start of construction of the Trina Solar (Xining) New Energy Industrial Park project was held in Xining, provincial capital of the central Chinese province of Qinghai. The project will cover almost the entire PV manufacturing chain from polysilicon production to modules based on 210 and N-type technology.</p>

<strong>10GW N-type modules on the way, for higher customer value</strong></p>

Trina Solar has been recognized as an “Overall High Achiever” in the PV Module Index Report 2022 published by the independent Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) in California. Trina Solar’s ultra-high power 670W series modules offer excellent reliability, superb performance and superior quality, and have passed a number of RETC tests that are significantly more rigorous than the IEC standard. This marks the third consecutive year that Trina Solar has received this award.</p>
